Microsoft Dynamics AX - Director for the Manufacturing Practice

The Rand Group is rapidly expanding and their Manufacturing Practice is looking for a competent and highly motivated Director to lead Microsoft Dynamics AX Projects and Implementations. The Position:

• Reports directly to the President
• Works directly with existing clients to offer subject matter expertise and solutions
• Develops and leads teams of functional and technical consultants
• Effectively manages resources and projects through business process analysis
• Delivers improvements to technologies, systems and organizational structures
• Enable clients to drive better business performance with technology
• Travel up to 25% of the time
• Works from either the Dallas or Houston office

The Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher education in Business (MBA), Accounting (CPA), Information Technology, Supply Chain Management or other related fields
• A proven track record with 8-10 years of experience managing ERP implementations with a focus on Manufacturing (such as Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics or Epicor)
• Ideally, experience managing pre-sales and implementation efforts within a Microsoft Dynamics AX practice
• Strong Project Management experience, using PMI methodology and Microsoft Project
• Excellent business acumen combined with strong business and problem-solving skills
• Innovative consulting skills
• Excellent oral and written communication
