Timberline Office Client Update
Thanks again to all of you who participated in the June complimentary webinar series. Based on your response the "Going Green with Timberline" was a topic you found extremely helpful and beneficial!

Our July complimentary series, "Taking Timberline to the Next Level" will focus on techniques that will help you gain more from existing Timberline Office Software. We will have sessions focused on improving simple report writing skills, how to build assemblies in your estimating software as well as a review of the most effective payroll monthly/quarterly reporting processes. We will also provide a look at Sage Timberline's newest offering for service and specialty contractors, Timberline Enterprise. Timberline Enterprise is based on .Net and SQL technologies and is meant to position Timberline Enterprise not as a replacement for your existing Timberline office software, but as a new technology that allows those of you that need a more robust technical solution and a better, more integrated service management and accounting software solution alternative growth path for the future..

How to Build Assemblies

Having the ability to build assemblies in Sage Timberline Estimating is a vital component of any effort to bring your estimating skills to the next level. Assemblies can be used as component assemblies, checklist assemblies, building shell assemblies, and conceptual estimating assemblies. Putting these types of assemblies into your estimating tool box will help reduce redundancy, increase accuracy and help speed up the estimating process.

You might have heard about Timberline newest suite of software, Sage Timberline Enterprise. The initial release of Enterprise is targeted at service and specialty contractors. Future versions will be targeted at other markets that Timberline addresses, such as General Contractors, Developers, Real Estate, Home Builders and Highway Heavy. Timberline Enterprise is based on .Net and SQL technologies and is meant to position Timberline Enterprise not as a replacement for your existing Timberline Office software, but as a new technology that allows those of you that need a more robust technical solution an alternative and growth path for the future. During this webinar we will discuss the 3 year product roadmap as well as provide a short demonstration.

Introduction to Report Designer

Unleash the power of the job cost data base using Timberline's Report Designer. This course will begin with understanding the job, cost code, category and other job cost system records. This will be followed by the key report design steps and will conclude with the actual design of the Over/Under Billing report. You will learn... how to (a) select the job cost records, (b) write formulas, (c) use prompts to condition the report, and (d) tips and hints. Those in attendance will receive a copy of the report design. The course will be presented by David Halper. David has been a Timberline consultant for 25 years, completed over 100 implementations and has taught Report Designer, Crystal and many other Timberline classes.


Payroll Reporting

Sage Timberline Office version 9.7 includes enhancements for your US State and Federal government payroll reporting requirements. With version 9.7 you now have over 250 additional forms included to assist you with completing your tax filings, new hire reports and more. Join us for this webinar to see how you can take advantage of these new electronic forms which are pre-filled using your payroll data. You can then review, edit, or fill-in more completely if desired. These forms can then be printed and mailed or to automate the process even further you have the option to eFile your forms using Aatrix Software. We will also cover the new HIRE Act reporting requirements - learn what you need to do to take advantage of these tax savings on newly hired employees.
